cDNA, anti-DNA and anti-sense DNA

cDNA

cDNA. DNA that is synthesized by the enzyme reverse transcriptase by using mRNA as a template. The initial product is a single-stranded DNA molecule that is complementary to the sequence of the mRNA.

anti-DNA
Antibodies to DNA, typical autoantibody which particularly occurs in connective tissue disease systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), in the active phases.
Nucleic Acids Structure
anti-sense DNA strand
anti-sense DNA strand, the DNA strand of a gene that is used as a template for RNA polymerase during transcription to synthesize a complementary mRNA strand.
